Graduation is ridiculously close!

Senior tributes have begun for all the organizations I am apart of and I'm getting more and more emotional.

In just a few short weeks, I'll have to leave this place that has been programmed into my GPS as Home for the last 4 years.

Trust me, I'm excited about graduating but there is a lot about this process that makes it truly bittersweet.

In addition to the general comfortability I have developed at my second home, I think I will miss the friends I have made here the most.

Many of us will be spread across the country at various jobs and some of my younger friends will still be at school working towards their own bittersweet life event.

Despite all that makes this moment bittersweet, I am excited to have been able to be in this place.

I am proud of all the hard work I have put in here.

I am thankful for the friends I have made here.

I am challenged by the changes before me.

I am excited for the May 7th.

Graduation, here I come!!

Galatians 6:9

Galatians 6:9And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

This scripture is truly helping me get through these last few weeks of the semester.

The truth is I'm extremely tired, like super-dee-duper tired.

It seems like professors take joy in putting all of our work at the end of the semester.

I have so many assignments, presentations, group projects and finals standing between me and graduation that it is hard for me to be happy about the monumental event that I've working for these last four years.

That's where Galatians 6:9 comes in. I have something to look forward to, a reason not to loose heart.

That reason will take place on Robert's Hall Lawn on Mary 7th.

Until then, I'll keep pressing toward the mark.

*Eeeekkk* I'm an adult!

The incoming Freshman class will graduate in 2020.

Let that sink in....

2020!!

The closer I get to graduation, the more I'm starting to feel how old I am.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it is quite a wake up call.

At this point, I am an adult but its hard to feel that way when I don't have any portion of my life after graduation settled.

There are plenty of my classmates who have a job secured, have signed for their first apartment and are ready to start living their new life after graduation.

Now that I'll be moving back home (even though it is temporary), it is difficult to see myself as an adult because I will still depending heavily on my parents.

At this point, I need an older adult, an adultier adult........at least for the time being.....
